Developer Interview
Part 2 of 2
Q5: Is there anything in the game that the developers wish the players would pay special attention to?
A: Besides just having a lot of fun, players may want to slow down once and a while and look at all the
details in the game. The art, tech, and design departments worked hard to create an authentic and live virtual world, with swaying grass, flowers, rocks, butterflies, birds, moving water, fires, sunsets, and many other details to make it as immersive as possible.
Q6: What plans do you have for the multiplayer features in the game? Will Titan Quest bring any new gameplay to the table?
A: Titan Quest will feature cooperative
gameplay. The main campaign can be played single player, multi-player, or a combination of the two.
Q7: How long will the single player campaign of the game last and how much focus went into the development of the story in the game?
A: The single player campaign, which can also be played in cooperative multi-player, takes about 25-30 hours to complete in one difficulty level. A lot of time and focus went into development of the story and the many optional side quests in the game.
Q8: How does a player go about developing their character?
A: We didn't want you taking a long time to define your character before you start playing. In Titan Quest, you develop
characters as you play. All you select is male or female hero, provide a name, and you are off! Over time, you will select two skill masteries, together which defines your character's class. From here, you will select skills, stats, and
equipment to develop your character to be the uber-hero worthy of legend.
