The Great Argos GC Rush//Console News

It seems that a recent choice by UK retailer Argos to drop the GameCube price to £78.99 has paid serious dividends.
The move was widely believed to be a sign that Argos were going to drop support of the Cube after poor sales and the price drop was an attempt to shift stock collecting dust on the shelves.

It now seems that since the price cut Argos can't keep GC's on the shelves and the decision may now be U-Turned.

    MechWarrior 5 Cancelled//General News

Fasa Studios, in a forum post by Von, have announced that MechWarrior 5 has effectively been cancelled.

Although an exceptional effort was made by an extremely creative and talented development team, we have decided not to continue the development of the project at this time. There were several factors in this decision, but most prevalent was our concern that we were not advancing the genre enough to meet and exceed our customer's expectations. Please know that this was a very difficult decision, but one we felt was in the best interests of our customers.
